Man Found Dead Inside Scotch Plains Apartment

Authorities were investigating the death of a man inside a Scotch Plains apartment Tuesday.

Officers found the man dead inside of a unit on the 500 block of Park Avenue around 11 a.m., after a local resident called for a welfare check, local police said.

The Union County Prosecutor's Office was called in to assist.
